Predict Healthcare joins the Foundation.

We are delighted, and genuinely grateful, to announce that Predict Healthcare, the Apulian company specialised in in-vivo diagnostics and medical imaging, has joined the bioERGOtech Foundation. It is a partnership we have looked forward to, and one that feels right from the very first conversation.

Predict comes to us from Bari, just up the Adriatic coast from our home in Taranto. That proximity matters. bioERGOtech was built on the belief that highly specialised companies across Apulia can achieve far more together than they ever could alone, and Predict is exactly the kind of partner that idea was made for.

Two decades at the patient's side.

Operating since 2008, Predict is the authorised GE Healthcare distributor for the Puglia region, supplying ultrasound and radiology imaging systems across hospitals and clinics. But Predict is far more than a distributor. Over the years it has grown into an innovation house in its own right, developing proprietary technologies that sit right where diagnosis happens, in the body and at the bedside.

Three of those technologies capture the spirit of the company well. Mistral, born from a long-running collaboration with the University of Bari, reads the volatile compounds in a person's breath to enable early, non-invasive diagnosis and metabolic monitoring. Optip XR is a mixed-reality "holopresence" platform that lets clinicians collaborate, teach, and proctor procedures remotely through shared holographic imaging. Aphel is an AI platform built around humanoid robots that support patients and staff inside the hospital, including gentle work alongside children in oncology wards.

It is a portfolio that has been recognised well beyond the region, with Predict repeatedly named among Italy's fastest-growing companies. More importantly for us, it is a portfolio rooted in a value Predict states plainly, that technology should serve people.

Where in-vivo diagnostics meets the digital workforce.

The bioERGOtech Foundation works at the intersection of cellular therapeutics, synthetic biology, and artificial intelligence, building the digital workforce that will accelerate how engineered living systems are developed and delivered. Predict's strengths line up against that mission with unusual precision.

Their interest in moving closer to biotech is, for both sides, a real opportunity. Predict brings the clinical and imaging layer that translational science so often lacks, and the Foundation offers a route into AI, cell engineering, and the wider research ecosystem that a diagnostics company rarely accesses on its own. The fit is bilateral by design, and that is precisely the kind of partnership we set out to build.

A shared Apulian mission.

bioERGOtech believes in building before sharing, in growing innovation inside and between existing companies rather than around them. Predict's combination of imaging, in-vivo diagnostics, AI, and a strong sense of social purpose makes them a meaningful contributor from day one, and a natural fit for active collaboration on concrete clinical needs.

In the weeks ahead we will be exploring where their diagnostic and imaging capabilities can plug into Foundation projects, and where our digital scientists can support Predict's next steps toward biotech. We will share more as those first projects take shape.
